IT slows down but does not regress

In  the near future the branch of new technologies in Poland will still gain a little profit. But the last years’ growth rate will not happen again so soon.  At present the most possible scenario is a one-digit growth of the IT market’s value within the next two years.  In 2008 the growth was about 12 per cent. The prognoses for the Polish export are assuming a two-digit growth. The IT sector has fallen victim to the cutting of budgets meant for implementing IT solutions in companies.

Growth dynamics of IT in Poland:
2006  – 13,8%
2007  – 16,9 %
2008  – 12,9 %
2009  – 1,2% - prognosis.
