Hard period even for the best ones

We have the pleasure to present to your attention this year’s edition of the ranking "Engines of the Polish economy”. Since the ranking was elaborated in a difficult period for the economy, we assumed from the outset that it would not be easy to find small and middle-size companies who were doing very well. Indeed, the results are not that impressive, but this does not mean that the companies do not increase their turnover and income or do not find niches that enable them in spite of the crisis to carry on and to do pretty well on the market.

The only figure we took into account in order to define small and middle-size companies was their general annual balance not exceeding 27 million EUR.
