Instant transfer available to Alior Bank clients

Alior Bank has launched the ‘Instant transfer’ service. Thanks to it, interbank transfers made by the Bank clients will reach other banks accounts as quickly as within a couple of minutes. So far, such transfers were settled during ELIXIR sessions which resulted in resources reaching the recipient after up to a dozen or more hours.

The ‘Instant Transfer’ service was developed with a view to clients who want to transfer money from Alior Bank to an account at another bank quickly. They are mainly people interested in buying products online or transferring money to the accounts of their family members or friends. The solution comes particularly useful in emergency situations in which it is essential to timely pay one’s liabilities, for instance in case of a loan instalment.

The service is rendered based on the BlueCash system developed by the Sopot-based Blue Media S.A. company. Thanks to it, financial resources are not transferred via the ELIXIR system, in which traditional interbank transfers are settled, but two interbank transfers are made. A client using the service makes only the first transfer – to the Blue Media account – while indicating the target account to which the money is to be transferred.

The cost of the instant transfer depends on its amount. A transfer of up to 1,000 zlotys costs only 1 zloty while each further thousand costs one additional zloty. Clients using the ‘Instant Transfer’ service can do a single transfer of maximum 5,000 zlotys. The service is available to both individual clients and entrepreneurs.
