The title "Best Employer of 2008" given to Blue Media


The survey, elaborated by Hewitt Associates, is based on the audit as well as interviews with the employees and the managing staff

The survey called Best Employers is an outstanding one because it employs a unique methodology. It was created with a view to getting maximally objective information about systems, programs and practices within human resources management, measuring employee engagement and evaluation of the role of personal functions used in organizations and seen from the perspective of their top managing staff.

Companies who have been active on the Polish market for at least two years and who have no less than 50 employees can take part in the survey. In this year’s edition, which is the fourth one, 102 companies from all over the country have participated. The total number of all employees working at these companies is set at almost 70 thousand. Over 50% of all participants are companies having up to 250 employees.

- We are very proud of getting this prize of honor, especially for that reason that it is the employees whose choice is the decisive factor. It resembles a little bit a situation, where we have given the prize to ourselves, since Blue Media is a team where there are no divisions similar to those usually occurring in corporations of any kind. – says Sebastian Ptak – Managing Director in Blue Media.

The methodology employed in order to carry out the “Best Employer” survey first and foremost enables everyone to see the degree of cohesion between the values presented by the top managing staff, the line managing staff and all the other employees.

Survey participants claim that the management members of the companies who have been given the title can in a perfect way maintain a balance between their company’s own business and the wellness of its staff. What is more, these organizations keep their promises, and the employees are treated as the most precious of all resources. This is presumably the reason why it is the teams, who are the earnest promoters of all companies on the market.
