Implementation of the service has enabled the users of Play mobiles to recharge their pre-paid accounts over the Internet. Play is the fourth mobile network operator, whose pre-paid mobile accounts can be recharged directly from the bank’s electronic banking service.

Both the level of mobile phone market saturation and the huge interest in e-banking services are factors that make mobile network operators diversify their distribution channels for the service of pre-paid mobile recharges.

Additionally, Play has started a promotion for all users who will have recharged their pre-paid mobiles until the 15th of December 2007. Every transaction over 40 PLN is rewarded with a promotional 25 per cent bonus recharge.

The transaction proceeds in a traditional way. After having logged in into the bank’s e-banking service www.pekao24.pl one should select the bookmark <Recharge your mobile>, which will open a window containing all details of the transaction being processed. From that point until the transaction is completed, one is guided by an intuitive interface.

The implementation has been carried out by Blue Media, who as well provides professional technical support to the system.
