Bank Pekao S.A. has launched a new service of prepaid mobile recharges within its internet banking services. This solution has been implemented through cooperation of three GSM operators Era, Orange and Plus, and Blue Media, a company from Sopot.

The transaction of buying prepaid calling credits can be made by logging into the bank’s web service www.pekao24.pl. Having done that you should select the option: <Recharge your mobile> from the upper menu, which opens a window with the details of the transaction. The first thing to do is to key in the mobile number you wish to recharge twice. Doing it twice is a brand new functionality that has been introduced in order to eliminate any potential errors in your mobile phone number.
Another step is to select your GSM operator and the exact recharging amount in Polish złoty your wish to refill your prepaid account with (amounts in grosze are not allowed).
Recharging amounts available within following GSM networks:
Simplus/mixPlus > 10 – 150 PLN
Heyah > 20 – 500 PLN
Tak Tak > 10 – 500 PLN
Sami Swoi> 10 – 160 PLN
Orange > one of the following: 5, 25, 50, 100 or 150 PLN.

Having selected the amount there is a possibility of defining the name of your transaction and remembering it by adding to a list. There can be as many names of the recharges as you have mobile phones to recharge from every account. That is another new thing, which makes it easier for the user to recharge the same mobile numbers later on. With the defined transaction, as described above, you do not need any extra authorization procedures such as using one-time security codes.
Then there follows a page with all details of your transaction, and
it is here the authorization process starts with you keying in one of your one-time security codes. Having confirmed the payment, the recharge is made within few minutes after the transaction is completed.

If you in advance have defined your mobile number at PekaoInternet service, or at TelePekao consulting, you will be able to refill your prepaid account by sending an SMS to number 3800
as follows:
>customer’s cumber#PIN#14#name of recharge#amount in PLN<.
Having sent the sms your prepaid account will be refilled within few minutes.

The service is also available for companies, who can receive invoices for the recharges to an email address after having registered at Blue Media’s web service: www.faktura.pl/zasilenia/pekao.

As well as at Bank Pekao SA’s web service, the recharges can be made at www.xelion.pl.

The system is maintained and serviced by Blue Media.
