Blue Media has been on the Polish market for six years.
In March 2005 Blue Media will have been six years old.
The previous year has been a very busy one for the company.
Most of the contracts regarded implementation of our Top-up Platform. This solutions makes it possible to refill your prepaid mobile account over the Internet or with an SMS. In some cases
the product had to be integrated from scratch, while other implementations were varying extensions of the solution’s functionality area. All the implementations have regarded GSM networks or banks.
The Year 2004 has shown how popular is the online service
of refilling prepaid mobile accounts.
Every month tens thousands of users are served by Blue Media.
Data for 2004 show a 400 percent rise in online mobile recharges. The market data for development of this area show that until 2007 the number of mobile users will have risen to the level of 27 million, of which prepaid mobile phones will have constituted about
60 percent – 16 million.
Such rise in interest in online recharging services is also a result
of the widespread use of the Internet and e-banking. Currently almost 100 percent of e-banking customers has a mobile phone. Other factor is the fact, that the service is being launched by a rising number of banks.
Almost 35 percent of Polish web users already has an e-bank account. The prospects for the following year presume, that 6 million new e-bank accounts will have been established, which proves that the e-service distribution channel has been enthusiastically adopted in Poland. The crucial point is, that all participants gain advantages from online transactions of reloading prepaid mobile accounts thanks to: unlimited availability, convenience, short proceeding period and security.
Starting from the Lear 1999 Blue Media has been a dynamically developing company, employing highly skilled specialists (within the previous year Blue Media has employed 8 people). The company’s turnover has gone up systematically, too. We presume, that having maintained the constant dynamic growth we will again find ourselves in the Fastest 50 Ranking among fastest developing high-tech companies in Eastern, and in the Fastest 500 Ranking among fastest developing companies from Europe, Asia and Middle East.

both in the Polish and international markets.
