Blue Media comes first in Deloitte’s “Fast50” list
1st position in Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 50” ranking in 2006.
For the third time Blue Media has been classified in the ranking, but it is the very first time the company found itself on the winning position. This is a result of Blue Media’s constant development in the area of new technologies, that with its high level has let the company come before all other companies from 7 East European countries who participated in the new edition of the ranking for the year 2006.
- This victory is a nice event, but, on the other hand, it also places us under a certain obligation. Now the company has the most difficult task to do – to maintain this position for the following years, or for the next year, at least – says Sebastian Ptak, Managing Director in Blue Media.
Products and solutions offered by Blue Media combine two ideas: the use of the Internet and the GSM technologies. Consequently, Blue Media’s strategy is based on employing innovative technologies used in many areas of the economy, first of all, in financial and teleinformation companies that are run with the help of modern management practices.
Blue Media’s clients consist of several biggest Polish banks, GSM operators and other financial institutions.
- Lately the company has been diversifying its market activity, among others it has started an expansion on the Eastern European markets – adds Sebastian Ptak.

About Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 50” ranking
“Fast50”, the ranking of Central European technology-based companies, is one of the initiatives of Deloitte, an international audit and consulting company aiming at promoting fast-growing companies, but also drawing attention to companies who has already started their market activity. The winner is chosen from over 1 000 East European companies. Deloitte’s employees contact companies from seven different countries, invite them to send an electronic application, then they contact the best applicants directly. The ranking comprises companies selected on the basis of a regional questionnaire carried out by Deloitte’s offices in Eastern Europe.
Basis evaluation criteria comprise the companies’ annual turnover and their investment activities. Deloitte’s ranking is now starting to be of a global character: the winners of the East European edition are automatically nominated to the all-European “Technology Fast 500” ranking.
